By downloading, installing, or using Shlf ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Shlf is a personal reading tracker for iOS that allows you to log books, track reading sessions, set goals, view statistics, and sync data across your Apple devices via iCloud. The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
Shlf offers a free tier with core functionality. Optional Pro plans are available as monthly, yearly, or lifetime subscriptions that unlock additional features.
All reading data you create in the App is yours. It is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to, collect, or store your reading data on our servers.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Deleting the App or disabling iCloud sync may result in data loss.
You agree not to:
The App uses third-party book databases to provide book information (titles, authors, covers). This data is provided as-is and may not always be accurate or complete. The App also relies on Apple's iCloud service for data synchronization, which is governed by Apple's own terms and conditions.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Shlf and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Book cover images and metadata are the property of their respective owners.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shlf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out through our support page.
