Shlf collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

• Book information (titles, authors, ISBN, covers, page counts)
• Reading activity (pages read, session durations, progress)
• Personal notes, highlights, and ratings
• Reading goals and achievement progress
• App preferences and customization settings

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide reading tracking features, generate statistics, sync between your devices, and display widgets. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

Data Storage

All your reading data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync:

• Data is securely transmitted to Apple's iCloud servers
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data remains on your device or in your personal iCloud account. Shlf does not use advertising networks or analytics platforms.

Camera Access

Shlf may request camera access solely for scanning book barcodes (ISBN) to quickly add books to your library. You can revoke this permission in iOS Settings at any time.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access and view all your data within the app
• Export your reading data and statistics
• Delete individual items or your entire library
• Disable iCloud sync to keep data local only
