Tap the "+" button in your library, then either scan the book's barcode using your camera, search for it by title or author, or manually enter the book details.
Open a book from your library and tap "Start Reading". Enter your current page number, and Shlf will automatically track your reading time and progress. Don't forget to stop the session when you're done!
Yes! All your reading data is stored locally on your device, so you can track your reading sessions even without an internet connection. If you have iCloud sync enabled, your data will sync automatically when you're back online.
When enabled in Settings, iCloud sync automatically backs up your library and keeps it synchronized across all your Apple devices. Your data is encrypted and stored securely in your personal iCloud account.
You can enable or disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings.
Shlf offers home screen widgets, lock screen widgets, and Live Activities. You can display your current reading progress, reading stats, and quick access to start reading sessions right from your home screen.
Navigate to the Goals section in the app to create custom reading goals. You can set daily page targets, monthly book goals, or yearly reading challenges. Track your progress with visual charts and activity heatmaps.
Yes! You can export your complete library, reading statistics, and session history from the Settings menu. You can also share beautiful, customizable cards of your reading progress on social media.
Absolutely! The Apple Watch companion app lets you control reading sessions, view quick stats, and track your progress directly from your wrist. It works seamlessly even when offline.
Make sure you've granted camera permission to Shlf in your iOS Settings. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → Shlf and enable access. Also ensure there's adequate lighting when scanning barcodes.
First, verify that iCloud sync is enabled on all devices. Check that you're signed in to the same iCloud account and have a stable internet connection.
If issues persist, try toggling iCloud sync off and back on in the app settings, or ensure iCloud Drive is enabled in your device settings.
Try searching by different criteria (title, author, or ISBN). If the book still doesn't appear, you can manually add it by tapping "Add Manually" and entering the book details yourself.

You have full control over your data. You can delete individual books, reading sessions, or your entire library from within the app. To completely remove all data, you can also delete the app from your device.
